Dorta Jagić
Die gebürtige Kroatin schloss ihr Studium in Philosophie und religiöser Kultur an der Jesuitischen Hochschule für Philosophie in Zagreb ab, wo sie auch lebt. Sie schreibt Gedichte, Kurzgeschichten und Theaterkritiken, die in zahlreichen Magazinen veröffentlicht wurden.
Neben ihrer schriftstellerischen Tätigkeit arbeitet sie als Übersetzerin und schreibt an Konzepten für Kurzfilme. Ihr Debütroman
Plahta preko glave (
Head under the sheets) wurde mit dem Goran Award für junge Dichter*innen ausgezeichnet.
Seit 1999 ist sie auch als Theater- und Schreiblehrerin und Regisseurin für studentische Theatergesellschaften tätig.
